“Renovation of the Windwheels Town”, is part of the Local Development Programme for Deprived Urban Areas in North Lebanon (UDP-NL). It is implemented by GIZ in partnership with CDDG, Anfeh’s municipality and the Ministry of Social Affairs. It is co-financed by the European Union and the German embassy.
The project’s main objective is to boost local level economy and tourism through direct support to refurbish and paint 26 windmills along with the renovation and painting building facades of Anfeh’s main street.
