As part of its effort to empower rural cooperatives and promote sustainable local agriculture, CDDG supported the Sidon Cooperative with essential agricultural equipment and infrastructure. This included:

A 50+ HP tractor, plough, and trailer to reduce land preparation costs;

A 6kVA diesel generator to support continuous operations;

50 Chandler walnut seedlings and a complete training package on cultivation, pruning, grafting, and maintenance for 10 farmers;

Specialized walnut farming equipment and a soil auger for efficient planting;

A 5-ton water tank with connection and a custom-built elevated platform;

A fully equipped prefabricated unit (36m²) for hygienic mouneh production, featuring industrial flooring, plumbing, and electricity.

This integrated support improves agricultural productivity and processing conditions, creating a healthier and more sustainable environment for both farmers and mouneh producers.
